The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Autumn in Grimagix! The colors, the breezes, the leaves, the sky, the clouds, the moon, the change in the lighting -- all just like down there, only amplified. This is tourist season!

That old "barrier between planes" is thinnest around Halloween. The time when people start to really understand -- even at a subconscious level -- that there is no difference between dreams and reality. It's all in how you perceive. How you choose to percieve.

I remember what it was like, not being able to be myself every day. Miserable. Frustrating. How can you spread your wings and fly when you don't have any wings?! You mortals -- this is your time of the year to prove to yourselves that you shine. I suppose some people have no other purpose than to make up "the teeming masses", but that, like perception, is a choice. This is when you can peek into the mirror and see yourself staring back at you from Grimagix --so say hello to the being you truly are. That reflection is part of you, whether you understand it or not.

(I do hope that you've chosen to masquerade as something besides a licensed character -- please tell me that you're more than a walking commercial for some faceless corporation's watered-down reality.)

Welcome to Grimagix, everyone. Stay as long as you like. Most of you will choose to return to your regular routine lives on November 1st...but a few of you will leave (or find) enough of your soul here to be able to return anytime you like -- you're the ones who make all the difference. Welcome, welcome, welcome home.
